US first undemocratic leader ?
The common denominator is that people want some change.
The new leaders are - once again, media simplistic - black or white 'in or out'.
The wrong people should get out, be thrown out, or be cleansed out - depending on how much they resist the changes.
Like always, controlled by a few. Fuelled by bigger carrots to the in:s and bigger sticks for the out:s.
And like always, in the beginning the leaders thinks everybody are with them. But gradually they feels everybody are against them.
